My main activity that I have always done, from a young age, is swimming. Although I dont get to do as often as I'd like nowadays I still have a passion for it. I started off swimming in primary school and then went on to swim for my high school and then Ulster Ladies Swimming Team. I was also in the hockey team.
Lately I enjoy going out every now and then with my partner and his family to the local pub. I have a good go on the kareoke and its a good night out. I enjoy music quite a lot, mainly listening to rock but I also like Shania Twain, Joni Mitchell and the late Janis Joplin.
To many peoples amazement, I do not know how to ride a bike! I was never shown! My baby is going to teach me this summer, so my aim is the Tour de France as soon as possible...
Other activities I enjoy are arts and crafts. I can knit and sew and put together a pretty decent jumper :) I also like to write poetry, short and long stories and to read too. My favourite authors are John Grisham, James Herbert and Harlan Coben. I also like the poets Dante and Chaucer. Also, lately I have become very much a poker addict! I love playing online at www.pokerroom.com. I dont play for real money, but I just enjoy the fun of it.
